Located at 306 Gold St STE C2, Brooklyn, NY 11201, Moon Wok operates as a chinese restaurant serving Brooklyn in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Brooklyn; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in New York are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 AMโ€“9 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Moon Wok at (347) 765-8822; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is moonwoknyc.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.4 out of 5 on Google across 175 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded chinese restaurants in Brooklyn.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Brooklyn peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

theres a small bug in the food, seen immediately once the plate is open. The whole area is small and the staff seems chill, but I'm posting this in hopes that the kitchen is more careful and sanitary. I hope the quality improves, especially considering the prices and menu is more expensive than a regular chinese restaurant.

One of my favorite modern Chinese restaurants in NYC never disappoints. Iโ€™ve been enjoying lunch here for the past two years, and today I decided to try a new dish. It turned out to be both healthy and incredibly delicious, so I had to share it with everyone!

This place is I think meant to be more authentic. I was looking for comforting average local Chinese food for lunch. Thereโ€™s not a lot of that in this neighborhood. The general tsoas chicken was really small for $18. Also they gave me the smallest sauce for my crab Rangoon Iโ€™ve ever seen in my life. It is not worth the price for the quality. Itโ€™s only slightly above average Chinese food. For the record, I wanted average Chinese food

I rarely write reviews unless the staff is truly impeccable, and Bobo was the best! She was incredibly kind, attentive, and accommodating. She made our experience exceptional. To the owner: Bobo truly deserves a bonus for her outstanding service! + best Dan Dan noodles Iโ€™ve had โค๏ธ

Great portion sizes and everything was tasty. Recommend getting the pickled fish soup, pea shoots, and the fried rice. Best for groups of 2-4 โ€” this place is primarily for takeout, but space for half a dozen tables indoors (and 2-3 outside).
